My assistant at Carly & Pete’s wedding said to me, “She is soooo wild!” Wild in a good way. Carly was out to have some fun. I was thoroughly impressed with Carly & Pete’s Northstar Tahoe wedding. A few days before their wedding, I met up with them to do a a walkthrough of Northstar Tahoe, and to figure out locations for their photographs. To see what they wanted and didn’t want. If the opportunity is there to meet with my clients before their wedding, I love meeting up and seeing what they’re comfortable with. Carly & Pete’s wedding was the first and probably the only wedding I will hang the wedding dress off the balcony. It’s the new clichéd detail photograph, and now that I’ve done it, I’ll only do it when asked. ;-P It’s like the jumping photograph. It’s been done. Gotta come up with ideas for photographs that are my own, or made into my own. 🙂 I digress. Carly & Pete’s wedding was phenomenal. First time I worked with Brian Hess and Holy Jesus, he’s amazing! I also love how it was pretty much a bluebird day, and I got to work with the challenge of having a bright blue sky. Anyone who knows me knows I love photographing when there’s clouds, or even better, a thunderstorm. Adds such a dramatic feel to the artwork. But put me in any situation, and I’ll figure it out. I love it. I love challenges. Many happy blessings to Carly & Pete, who were so freaking beautiful and fun (wild!) to photograph. Thank you for having me. I am very, very thankful. 🙂
