When Christina Perry, of Quality Event & Design, approached me about Kelsey & Bo’s Chalet View Lodge wedding, and then meeting with Kelsey with her vibrance and energy, and my love for Plumas County (and especially for Plumas County weddings), I was so ecstatic, even if Kelsey’s wedding pretty much confined to me a constant cold for the next 3 months. (Yes, it’s January, and I’m almost 100%). I had the intense pleasure working with Jo Shaw, of Reno PhotoBooth, for the first time, and experiencing the most amazing food of Men Wielding Fire (They totally rival Mountain Magic, but totally different food, so I can’t really compare the two, so they’re both amazing catering companies with insanely good food!). The absolute best part of Kelsey and Bo’s wedding (except for the way they looked at each other, that love – whoa..) was the fun, it was so inspiring to see them with their family and friends have such an amazing time. And then my various ways of seeing photography (I like to call what I do art, sometimes it makes you think, sometimes you have to look at it and digest it, and sometimes it’s immediate – the emotion, the subtleties). My clients never know what I will see and how I photograph their wedding stories. The surprise, the thoughtfulness, yep, I love my clients. They rock (yes Kelsey and Bo, you are so inspiring, thank you!)!
