Jennifer and Michael booked me to photograph their wedding while they were living in Boston, but have since moved to New York. Jennifer is definitely one of the most organized brides I’ve ever encountered (I mean honestly, she purchased her dress one week after BHLDN went live – the wedding store for Anthropologie), as I am fairly organized before I photograph (creating a photographic timeline to allow any hiccups throughout the day) so my couples have an idea photographically how much time they have to play with their photography thereby allowing me to capture some freakishly insane photographs. (I’m saying this all in jest, honestly, I just like to play with photography if allowed the time). I went a little overboard at Jen and Michael’s ceremony at Sugar Pine Point State Park, and their cocktail reception at private residence in Rubicon Bay with the amazingly, to-die-for food of Peter’s with Mountain Magic Catering. (yum, just thinking of Peter’s tri-tip sliders…mmmmm) So overboard, that’s what I was saying, got distracted by food. Oops. I photographed Jen and Michael’s Sugar Pine Point State Park wedding with the Contax 645, the Mamiya 6 and some digital imagery with the Canon 5D Mark II.
