About
How do you want to see your wedding story told? From beginning with bridal preparations through the grand finale, my purpose is to capture all the moments, details, expressions that will encompass your wedding story through my eyes.
I was trained as a newspaper photojournalist for 8 years, photographing everything from the emotional reunion of troops coming home to their loved ones to peak action at Phoenix Suns’ basketball games, and everything in between.
During my newspaper years, I photographed my first wedding at the Nardini Manor in Goodyear, Ariz. and absolutely fell in love with the storytelling of the wedding couple. Here I am behind my camera watching the nervousness of the bride getting ready with her ladies, and the groom fumbling with his tie as his guys tell jokes and drink beers to relax before the once in a lifetime event. From the bride’s father trying to not show his daughter how emotional he is, to the excitement of the first look when the groom sees his bride gliding up the aisle as the whole world falls away to the moment of the bride and groom devoting their lives to each other.
I love seeing two people in love, and being there to capture the laughter, the tears, and every little moment, and detail of the wedding story. Photographing two people devoutly in love, continually causes me to cry. (Thank God for autofocus, as I’ve been known to choke up during the vows) I love it, feeling the happiness shared by these two people at the altar, committing their lives to each other, I feel alive documenting the beginning of their new life together. Couples that move me, that make me feel that real love exists. the promise of maybe, of realness, of love are what I live for.
If you are a couple that is so overwhelming in love, you’re best friends, know you will do everything you can to grow on your love…I would treasure becoming your friend and would be ecstatic of the opportunity to capture you, the emotions and moments, the details, of you beginning your new life together on your wedding day.
